Make A Wish Volunteer Day – Royal JBS Golf Tournament – Saturday

We need volunteers on Saturday from 4:30-7PM to help with course clean up after the tournament!

Volunteers will drive the golf course to pick up items (tables, chairs, coolers, garbage cans, signs) and return them to the pro shop staging area and properly store them in an organized manner.  The clean-up crew will take off only after golfers have cleared the course.  Before that, the crew will be getting score cards from the golfers as they return and running them from golf cart return area to the member lounge (this is some distance).  This speeds up the scoring process if we intercept the cards quickly.  Otherwise the golfers forget them on the cart or wander around with them wondering who they should give them to.  Volunteers should be physically fit enough to walk quickly, lift up to 25#, knowledge of proper golf cart etiquette (ie: where to drive/not drive) required as we do not want to damage the course, the desert environment, carts, and volunteers
